SEVERAL crews have been in attendance at a fire involving gorse and woodland in Briantspuddle.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were alerted at 12.44am this morning to the fire which was blazing across two hectares at Oakers Wood.
He added: "The fire was extinguished using three main lines and four hose reel jets.
"Damping down of hot spots is still taking place and our crews are expected to remain in attendance for some time."
