A rescue operation was launched after a paddleboarder and a kayaker got into difficulties at sea near Lyme Regis.
Coastguards and the lifeboat crew took action to rescue the individuals amid strong offshore winds on Saturday.
A spokesman for Lyme Regis Coastguard said: "We were tasked to help Lyme Regis Lifeboat with the rescue of a paddleboarder and a kayaker in difficulties one nautical mile south of Lyme Regis with strong offshore wind.
"Both casualties recovered safe and well.
"For emergencies on the cliffs, beach,sea or tidal river call 999 and ask for the coastguard."
