Officers carrying out searches in the Weymouth area for a missing woman are appealing for help from the public to find her.
Kay Beard, aged 58, is believed to have left an address in the Chickerell Road area on foot at around 5.15pm yesterday (Monday).
She is described as white, five feet two inches tall and of medium build with dark brown shoulder-length hair. Kay is believed to have been wearing a long black T-shirt and possibly a black coat as well as dark trainers with white soles.
Chief Inspector Steve Yeoman, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Kay’s welfare and officers are carrying out searches to try and locate her.
“I would urge anyone with information as to Kay’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching the description given, to please contact us.
“I am also appealing directly to Kay if you see this to please make contact with us or your family so we can make sure you are safe and well.”
