A THREE day virtual festival is coming to Dorset to champion digital innovation across the county.
The Festival of the Future will have 55 virtual sessions over three days where festival-goers can attend workshops to learn more about data and technology.
A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "Think Bestival or Glastonbury, but with more tea, future-gazing and Linkedin profiles."
Councillor Peter Wharf, portfolio holder for corporate development and change, said: "Some people might think digital isn't for them but it is for everyone so we want to increase Dorset's knowledge of digital.
"Dorset is a hive of digital activity, so we want to really showcase what is going on and attract investment and skills to this part of the country."
The festival will take place from 13-15 October and events will include chair yoga, a digital learning zone and virtual networking.
