A MOPED was seized from its impatient rider after it was spotted undertaking at speed.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team also discovered it was being ridden by a provisional licence holder who was not displaying L plates.
The moped was stopped by patrolling officers yesterday afternoon.
"Hopefully he will respect and follow the Highway Code when he collects it. Driving licence rules are there for everyone's safety" said a police spokesman.
