A WEYMOUTH landmark has turned green to promote two special causes.
The Jubilee Clock on the seafront changed colour to mark World Mental Health Day on October 10 and has stayed green to show support for the Go Green For Parks campaign.
The town council is supporting this campaign as well as celebrating its own Green Flag Award-winning parks, to recognise the work that's been put in throughout the year to keep its parks and gardens looking fantastic.
A town council spokesperson said: "This year, outdoor spaces have been so important in supporting the mental wellbeing of our communities. We're very proud of the staff who have continued to work in our parks and gardens throughout the pandemic to ensure that they could continue to be enjoyed by the public.
"The clock face will stay green until Friday to say a big thank you to our parks and gardens team, and to also show our support to the community."
