Portland Bill Coastguard team
EMERGENCY crews were mobilised to search for a 'high risk' missing person on Portland.
Coastguards, police and the police helicopter joined a major co-ordinated effort on Friday afternoon.
A spokesman for Portland Bill Coastguard said: "The team tasked by the National Maritime Operations Centre (NMOC) along with Wyke Coastguard CRT, Weymouth and Portland Police and the NPAS Helicopter to search for a high risk missing person in the Portland area.
"The casualty was located safe and well, as the team started to commence their search.
"All teams then stood down and returned to their stations."
