A LARGE amount of stolen machinery was recovered in a major police operation.
Dorset Police Rural Crime Team joined forces with colleagues from Somerset for the co-ordinated operation yesterday.
A spokesman for the team said: "We have conducted a warrant with Avon and Somerset Police in rural Somerset.
"A large amount of stolen plant machinery, vehicles, quad bikes and tools have been recovered from various locations.
"From Dorset, an ifor Williams trailer was recovered which was stolen during a farm burglary in West Dorset.
"Remember to keep reporting suspicious behaviour.
"Likewise please do mark your property and send us serial numbers of stolen property should you have it.
"Without these we most definitely would not have been able to recover some of the tools found today."
