A cliff could be in danger of collapsing after a large crack appeared.
Walkers and others in the area have been warned after a crack opened up in the top of the cliff near Highlands End Caravan Park, West Bay.
A cordon has been put in place along the section of cliff.
A spokesman for Dorset Council said: "You can still pass using the coastal path, our rangers are monitoring any further movement.
"Be careful of cliff collapses, especially in wet weather."
This comes after a large rock fall occurred between Hive Beach and Freshwater Beach in Burton Bradstock in August.
Heavy rainfall has been known to make the cliffs along the coast unstable and further rockfalls can happen at any time.
Geologists have warned in the past that the Jurassic Coast’s cliffs ‘remain totally unpredictable.’
