THREE men will appear in court next week on suspicion of the supply of class B drugs following a raid of a Weymouth property.

Police officers entered an address on Dorchester Road at 10.44am on Thursday, October 1 following reports of alleged suspicious drugs activity.

Dorset Police say that a quantity of suspected cannabis plants were discovered.

As a result of enquiries, two vehicles were stopped by South Wales Police on the M4 near Port Talbot where a further quantity of suspected cannabis plants were seized from the vehicles.

Tiberiu Ciovana, 22, Petru Damian Ghica, 24 and Marian Cocargeanu, 42, all of Birmingham, have been charged with being concerned in the supply of a class B drug cannabis.

The men appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, October 3 where they entered no plea.

They are due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, November 5.
