TEN new homes could be built on rural sites near Dorchester if planning consent is given by Dorset Council.

New home applications have been received for sites at Crossways, Sydling St Nicholas and Lower Bockhampton.

The recent application are - 15A Warmwell Road, Crossways, outline consent to replace an existing property with four two-storey homes; Land and buildings north of Cutlers Close, Sydling St Nicholas, demolition of existing barns, build five new homes and a replacement barn; Lower Bockhampton Farm, Bockhampton Lane, Lower Bockhampton, demolish old a dairy parlour and build new home; 16 Warmwell Road, Crossways, raise roof for loft conversion, side extension and removal of garage; Units 1 & 2, Parkway Farm Business Park, Middle Farm Way, change of use from non-residential institutions to commercial, business and service, general Industrial and storage or distribution; Compton Valence House, Church Hill Lane, Compton Valence, install biomass boiler in an existing outbuilding; 13 Tincleton Cross, Tincleton, demolition and replacement of single storey and add porch.
