A key route in Weymouth is shut in both directions following a crash this evening (Friday, October 30).
Police officers have closed the A354 between the Veasta Roundabout and Jurassic Roundabout following a two-vehicle collision.
Traffic monitoring services are reporting heavy delays in the area.
Weymouth and Portland Police shared online: "The road between the Veasta Roundabout and Jurassic Roundabout is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
"Please seek alternative routes."
Travel Dorset has shared the following update: "A354 Weymouth Way both ways closed, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehices involved from A353 (Jurassic Roundabout, Bincombe) to B3159 Dorchester Road (Manor Roundabout, Nottington).
"Affecting traffic between Weymouth and Dorchester."
