WITH a second lockdown now underway, food and drink businesses across Dorset and beyond have had to close their doors to dine-in customers.

It is a massive blow to the hospitality sector as some Dorset business owners feared they are being “punished” despite low numbers of coronavirus cases within venues.

Thankfully dozens of non-essential businesses around Dorset have announced that they will change how they will operate and offer deliveries to their customers.

This means that we can still enjoy some delicious local food and drink, and most importantly, support these local businesses at a difficult time.

Dorset Echo is building a list of pubs, restaurants, and cafes in Dorset that are open for takeaways and/or deliveries. Bridport News has compiled its own list for West Dorset through this link.
