LIBRARIES and Tourist Information Centres have been forced to close until the second national lockdown is lifted, but some services will continue.
The Dorset Libraries order and collect book service and the home library service, where books are dropped off at residents' homes, will continue during the lockdown.
All face-to-face services at Dorset Council's three Tourist Information Centres have been suspended but an email and phone enquiry service will still be operating.
Councillor Jill Haynes, portfolio holder for customer services and communities said: "It is a shame we have had to close our libraries and Tourist Information Centres again, but we must observe the latest lockdown restrictions.
"Our dedicated employees are doing everything they can to continue providing some key services over the coming weeks that we hope will make things a little easier for our loyal customers and visitors."
