NHS staff at Dorset County Hospital are to be offered special deals on mortgages during December.
The scheme has been launched by Dorchester-based firm Blueberry Mortgages, which has also vowed to donate money to the DCH charity.
Alex Hamilton, head of Specialist Lending at Blueberry Mortgages, said: “We wanted to do something to show our admiration, appreciation and respect for the NHS and its remarkable heroic workers.”
"Many of our staff have family members or friends who work in the NHS locally. As a result we are offering all NHS staff from across the UK including doctors, nurses, support workers, porters and cleaners a £0 package fee for all second charge mortgages and bridging loans which have are submitted from Tuesday December 1 to Thursday December 31."
He added: "No gimmicks, no minimum loan size, just a real benefit for all NHS staff. In addition to this we will also make a £100 contribution on any mortgage completions directly to the Dorset County Hospital Charity."
