The Stop Portland Waste Incinerator protest
Not only residents of Portland should be concerned about the proposed incinerator.
Areas down wind of it such as Osmington, Warmwell, Owermoigne, Crossways, Wool and all residential and farming along the coast as far as Purbeck, Poole and Bournemouth all catch prevailing West-S-West winds that pass over Portland.
Any particulates will have been picked up, and when cooled will start to fall in these areas.
