Dorset Council are to be congratulated for arranging to carry out the resurfacing work on the Bridport Road in Dorchester during the current lockdown.
So, can anybody tell me why, during the three weeks (roughly) before Christmas Day, SGN are carrying out “URGENT” gas works that require traffic lights on High West Street and a street closure?
Surely if they are urgent they should be doing them now during lockdown!
Who on earth thought this was a good idea?
