SEVERAL local community members have been elected as trustees to a village hall.
The Forsters Institute Bradpole Village Hall has been without trustees since the beginning of the year, relying on Bradpole Parish Council to keep the administration going throughout the pandemic.
Nine residents were elected at the hall's most recent AGM.
The new trustees are charged with checking the condition of the building, documents such as risk assessments and insurances, and will be contacting previous users about opening up the facility for full use.
However with the current lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions in place, it is expected that the hall will not be able to fully open for several weeks.
Details of the reopening will be shown on the hall page of the parish council website - www.bradpole.org.uk/the-forster-memorial-institute-bradpole-village-hall/
