A DIGITAL technology festival has been hailed a success.
Dorset's Festival of the Future, which took place over three days last month, aimed to increase people's knowledge and understanding of what 'digital' means and excite them about the opportunities and benefits of technology.
The event was targeted and people living and working in Dorset but reached further afield with several thousand registering from across the UK and more than 600 people registering from abroad.
Councillor Peter Wharf, portfolio holder for corporate development and change, said: "The Festival of the Future was a stunning success and I was very proud and pleased to be connected with such a ground-breaking event.
"It was a huge credit to the organising team from Dorset Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group from the NHS and has further cemented Dorset's place on the map as a leader in technology."
