RE the Charlton Down outline planning application from an out of town developer.
It really is about time Dorset Council started to refuse to accept any application that is not in the 5-year land supply plan (outside the development boundary).
Forcing developers to focus on the abundance of brown field sites across Dorset.
Could it be that green field sites are free of VAT and thus generate higher profit?
Dorset really has it it very wrong, planners are nothing more than administrators, there is no moral guidance being shown at any stage, other than a minority of Councillors who are pushing up hill.
Come on Dorset Planners - step up to the mark.
