A FREE virtual workshop with poet Vanessa Kisuule is set to take place today.
The online workshop, on Wednesday, November 25, will give participants from all over Dorset the opportunity to express their thoughts about climate change and its impact on them and the wider community. This could be through single words, sentences or a short poem.
Registration for the event can take place online or by phone, and attendees will be invited to contribute their words during the workshop or by email after the session.
Their contributions will inspire a group piece which Vanessa will perform and share online later.
The event is being run by Dorset Library Service, project partners of Landance. It is the first of further workshops and a free live performance of music, dance and poetry planned for late summer 2021 on the Lyme Regis seafront.
To register for the spoken word workshop, go to Eventbrite or search for ‘Dorset libraries’ in events at www.eventbrite.co.uk. Alternatively, call 01305 225000 to book a place at the workshop.
