BUS pass which belonged to a man who died in 2008 was used more than 70 times in Dorset last winter.

Dorset Police is investigating reports that a man was using a bus pass over a number of years from 2017 that was in the name of a man who died in 2008.

At least 70 journeys were made using the bus pass in the Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole areas from November 2019 to February 2020.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

Police Sergeant Steve Boston, of Dorset Police, said: “This matter was first reported to us in March this year but we have now obtained further information and are in a position to issue CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to as part of our enquiries.

“I am appealing for anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
