Traffic to West Bay has been diverted along Burton Road for the duration of the replacement sewer works, up till Christmas Eve.

There is not an alternative route for the many hundreds of car journeys a day to and from West Bay.

So why, when the amount of traffic was considerably increased did some bright spark decide to have traffic restrictions on the stretch of Burton Road for the same period of time?

Perhaps it’s time to consider departments actually liaising and working together, or is this an example of how the new council will operate?
