I am tired of hearing Government ministers taking pompously about “regaining our sovereignty” and now Mr Drax repeats it (no doubt under orders from said Government) in his column.
Our sovereignty is the Queen in Parliament and nobody can take that away from us except by defeat in war or violent revolution.
There’s no reason we can’t agree with our trading partners in Europe over the contested issues.
As Mr Drax says, this farce must end right now.
