BUILDING firm Greendale Construction has donated £1,000 to The Lexi-May Trust’s Christmas event at Nutley Farm, Winfrith.

The ‘Christmas Lights, Santa and Reindeer Experience’ saw 50 families with children suffering terminal illness or life limiting conditions, invited to the farm where to wander around the illuminated walk.

The Lexi-May Trust was founded in 2016 by Carly and Michael Hopkin after the death of their daughter from an inoperative brain tumour.

The Trust supports children with terminal illness or life limiting conditions in Dorset.

Maria Seabright, of Poole-based Greendale Construction, said: “It has been an incredibly tough year for everyone, but that doesn’t mean charities should lose out.

"With that in mind, Greendale was delighted to be able to contribute towards making special memories for the families and their incredibly brave children, who were able to attend this magical event at Nutley Farm.”

Carly Hopkin, Founder of The Lexi-May Trust, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have received such a generous donation from Greendale Construction.

"They’ve continued to support us throughout 2020, despite the current pandemic."
