Weymouth Library is set to benefit from further funding going into 2021.
Friends of Weymouth Library (FOWL) has pledged further funding for the Libraries as Cultural Hubs initiative to continue into the new year.
The group has also donated their stocks of refreshments to the library staff.
The library has opened its doors in recent months for limited browsing, click-and-collect services and use of its computers if pre-booked. Books have been quarantined before usage to keep them Covid-safe.
Plans were in hand at one point to extend the library’s opening hours but for now opening times are still limited. Services continuing include online children’s activities, reading groups and appointments.
