On December 31 I walked to the border at the River Stour.
No sign of border guards at the Canford suspension bridge as I gaze across the water to the beknighted Tier 3 town of Wimborne, where the non-essential shops stay open.
On January 1, I awoke to find that Tier 3 land has disappeared Brigadoon? Shangri-La? Or am I getting withdrawal symptoms already.
