Plans have been announced to reduce the speed limit on a main road in North Dorset.
Highways officers for Dorset Council are proposing to drop the speed limit from 60mph to 50mph on the A354 at Badger roundabout in Blandford.
If approved, the change would see the reduced limit implemented from 590 metres west of the junction and at the immediate entrances to the other three turnings on the roundabout.
A council notice explaining the reasons for the proposals said the change was needed "to regulate or reduce the speed of vehicles to a level which drivers can readily meet the general dangers which may be expected on these roads".
Residents have until January 29 to give comments on the traffic regulation order by visiting the Dorset Council website or emailing regulation-tro@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
