AN emergency services worker was allegedly assaulted after police officers attended an address in Holmhurst Avenue.
Dorset Police were called at around 10.25pm on Friday, January 8 2021 following reports that one man had been assaulted.
However, officers attended and established that an assault had not taken place.
One man required medical treatment and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service.
During the incident, it is alleged that the man assaulted an emergency services worker.
He was arrested on suspicion of common assault of an emergency worker, criminal damage and racially aggravated abuse with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
