SAINSBURY'S has issued a food recall warning on one of its Plant Pioneers products due to a possible safety risk.
The supermarket, which has a store in Mercery Road, said its Shroomdogs packs may contain pieces of metal.
The affected packs have the SKU number 7994995 and the use by dates of January 6 and January 7 2021.
The Shroomdogs packs, which should be avoided, are also 300 grams.
Sainsbury's apologised to customers and explained the food items can be returned to stores.
A statement from Sainsbury's said: "It has been brought to our attention that some packs of the above date codes of this product contain pieces of metal.
"We're asking customers who have purchased this product not to eat it and to return it to their nearest Sainsbury's store for a full refund when they next visit for groceries and other essentials."
