POLICE carried out a drugs raid on a property in Weymouth's Park District after a man was caught with 'white powder' and cash.
Officers from Weymouth & Portland Police searched a man under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Friday evening and found a 'substantial amount' of cash along with 'a quantity of white powder.'
"As a result the male was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs," a spokesman for the force said.
"An address was later searched nearby to where the male was stopped.
"During the search a large quantity of cannabis was also located. Enquiries are ongoing."
