A BUSINESS unit at Rodden Farm, Weymouth could be subdivided to create smaller industrial units.
The owners of the site have asked Dorset Council to allow the changes which they say would improve the viability of the site.
The application asks for the creation of five smaller units. Other local planning applications validated this week include - 1 Sycamore Road, Weymouth, two storey extension; White Gates, Grove Lane, Portesham, replacement stables and store to include concrete yard area; 27 Chapel Lane, Weymouth, single and two storey rear extension; 10 New Bond Street, display new illuminated shop signs; 25 Budmouth Avenue, Weymouth, ground floor balcony to rear; 1 Churchill Close, Weymouth, new vehicle access with dropped kerb and driveway; 12 Dahlia Close, Weymouth, side extension. Portland - 106 Weston Road, demolition of existing buildings and build new home and garages; 17 Weare Close, build raised decking.
