POLICE are appealing for help to trace a woman who has been missing from her home for several days.

Katie Hunt, aged 27, left her accommodation in the Westbourne area of Bournemouth at around 4pm on Monday January 18. It is believed she may have left in a black Land Rover Vogue.

Katie previously went missing on January 8 but was found on January 13. Police are appealing for help as she has gone missing for a second time.

Katie is described as white, around five feet six inches tall and of medium build with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white and dark grey hooded top or jacket, light blue ripped jeans and white trainers.

Enquiries by officers indicate she may have travelled to the Bridgewater area in Somerset.

Inspector Greg Tansill, of Bournemouth Police, said: “Katie has not returned to her accommodation and we are becoming concerned for her welfare. We are keen to find her to make sure she is safe and well.

“I am appealing to anyone with information as to her whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching the description given, to please contact us.

“Finally, I would like to make a direct appeal to Katie – if you see this please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to ensure that you are all right.”
