DELAYS are expected on a key Weymouth route due to roadworks with a temporary traffic-light system set to be in place.
The Dorchester Road carriageway between Church Street and Chapel Lane, in Broadwey, will be repaired today to rectify potholes and other surface defects.
Dorset Council workers will install temporary stop-go system to manage traffic and keep crews safe during the maintenance.
On Dorset Council's website it states the work should only take one day.
Dorchester Road is one of many key roads being repaired by Dorset Highway's maintenance crews across the county this month as workers continue to keep key routes in good condition during lockdown.
The Travel Dorset service, which is run by Dorset Council, warns users that delays are expected in the area and to allow plenty of journey time.
