FIREFIGHTERS have been called to extinguish a blaze in a care home.
Fire engines from Weymouth, Dorchester and Yeovil were called out at around 6.24am this morning to a fire at Bosworth Care Home in Preston, Weymouth.
The fire was in the laundry room and was caused by a tumble drier.
Firefighters used two breathing kits and one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
The crews were stood down at 7.19am.
