A MAN responsible for repeated anti-social behaviour has been banned from parts of Weymouth town centre and the seafront.
Weymouth and Portland Police's Neighbourhood Team obtained a Criminal Behaviour Order in relation to local male Stephen Robert Carter due to his ongoing anti-social behaviour around the town.
A spokesman for the team said: "This was achieved by working in partnership with our colleagues at the Dorset Council Community Safety Team and using information that was provided to us by the public.
"He is now banned from certain areas of the town centre and seafront.
"This is a positive step in reducing ASB and linked criminal offences in the town and underlines the importance of members of the public continuing to report issues to us.
"The team will continue our efforts to reduce ASB in Weymouth by working with the community and our partners."
