I received my first Pfizer jab at The Atrium Health Centre this week.

I would just like to inject (if you will excuse the pun!) a note of positivity into the Covid debate.

From the time I crossed the road to enter the building there were friendly marshals explaining where to go and what to expect.

Once inside the process was carried out with military (albeit friendly and caring) precision.

I had an opportunity to discuss any concerns with the doctor who administered the vaccine and was then shown to a waiting area.

I was to sit there for 15 minutes and the label on my jacket told me I could leave at 1.29pm. My appointment was for 1.20pm.

(I was a little early!) I would like to thank all the NHS professionals and volunteers involved in this amazing effort.
