A NUMBER of health centres across Weymouth, Portland and West Dorset are now deploying the Covid-19 vaccine.
Currently there are two vaccines being used in the UK-the Pfizer-BioNTech and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
Sites distributing the vaccine to the most vulnerable in the community include the Community Hospital (Weymouth & Portland Primary Care Network), in Melcombe Avenue.
The Atrium Health Centre (Mid Dorset Primary Care Network), in Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester is also administering jabs.
Other sites include Hamworthy Club (Poole North Primary Care Network) in Wimborne, Wareham Hospital (Purbeck Primary Care Network) in Wareham, Bridport Medical Centre (Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network), Sturminster Newton Medical Centre (The Vale Primary Care Network), The Digby Hall in Sherborne, and Whitecliff Surgery, Blandford.
