MORE than 150 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Dorset over the last 24 hours, latest figures show.
Data released by the government shows, in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on Monday, 152 Covid-19 cases were confirmed across the county.
The figures include 59 new cases in the Dorset Council area - taking the total for this part of the county to 10,382.
The infection rate stood at 175.7 per 100,000 people, with 665 cases confirmed in the lead up to February 3.
And in the BCP Council area 93 cases were recorded, taking the conurbation’s total since the start of the pandemic to 23,324.
In the seven days leading up to February 3, the latest seven-day rolling period, 1,204 cases were recorded in BCP, giving a rolling infection rate of 304.6 per 100,000 people.
