A VEHICLE overturned after hitting black ice on a Purbeck road.
Emergency services were called out to the crash on the B3551 between Corfe Castle and Studland at 8.26pm on Wednesday, February 10.
The crash took place near the turning for Burnbake.
The road was blocked as police attended the scene and there was no report of any injuries.
The vehicle was recovered and officers left the scene at around 9.50pm.
Purbeck Police urged motorists to consider the dangerous conditions when driving on untreated roads.
A spokesman for Purbeck Police said: "A vehicle has hit some black ice and overturned on the Corfe - Studland road near Burnbake. Please consider ice if travelling on untreated roads and avoid this area for a while if you have to travel."
