Crews called to chimney fire caused by wood burner
FIREFIGHTERS have been at the scene of a chimney blaze involving a wood burner at a Dorset home.
Two crews from Swanage Fire Station were called to Bell Street, Swanage today at around 7.52am.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Pump from Swanage attended a property due to a confirmed chimney fire involving wood burner.
"Crews extinguished the chimney fire using chimney rods."
