FIREFIGHTERS have been battling a 'significant' blaze at a Dorset home.
Crews were called to James Close in Blandford Forum yesterday at around 4.04pm.
Two fire engines from Blandford, one from Sturminster Newton Fire Station and another from Poole raced to the scene to tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews attended a significant fire in Blandford. Thankfully there were no injuries. Some neighbouring streets have been affected due to the power in the area being isolated temporarily; the power company will endeavour to get services back to normal as soon as possible.
"Areas affected are around James Close and Philip Road. Thankyou for you patience."
