Roadworks in Mallams
A ROAD on Portland which has remained shut since the beginning of January is set to reopen next week.
Dorset Council have said delays are still likely as workers from British gas company SGN carry work out essential work in Mallams until February 26.
Workers from the gas firm started the essential work on January 4.
A diversion route has been put it place if road users are travelling on Castle Road and want to get to the A354 Chiswell.
The council is advising drivers to remain on A354 Fortuneswell and make a right onto High Street.
