Today whilst walking my dog through the Nothe Gardens, I came across an envelope tied to a lamppost, which read “Open me”, so I did.
A stranger had put a small letter to remind the person who opened it that they are not alone during this hard period of time which we are all going through, and a small pouch of lavender for its calming effect.
I read the letter, and through your letters page, I would just like to thank the person for their kind message.
It was heartfelt message and brightened my day, more than the person will ever know. Your kind message, had a profound effect on me, and I will keep it with me wherever I go, and if I need support, I will read it again.
To this kind stranger, thank you, and I wish you strength and happiness too. Keep yourself safe, angels like you are very rare.
