POLICE officers are carrying out enquiries into an address in a Dorset town amid reports of anti-social behaviour and Covid-19 breaches.

Dorset Police say they have received ‘a number of reports' dating back to April 2020 about a property linked to suspected criminal activity in the Lodbourne area of Gillingham.

North Dorset Police say officers have begun regularly patrolling the area as they address the concerns of residents in the area, including reports of suspected drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We have received a number of reports dating back to April 2020 in relation to suspected anti-social behaviour linked to an address in the Lodbourne area of Gillingham.

“The reports include suspected drug related activity and visitors to the premises in breach of Covid-19 regulations.

“Officers have been carrying out regular patrols in the area and have been working with the owner of the property as well as local partners to address the concerns of neighbouring residents.

“Local officers are committed to responding to concerns raised by members of the public in the area and will continue to patrol the area and investigate any matters reported.”
