Graffiti has increased in Dorchester say police who are now making an appeal to parents to ensure they know what their children are getting up to.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team say recent evening patrols have included the market car park and the 1610 leisure centre car park, which are both popular hang-outs for local young people.
A spokesman for the team said: “We can report both areas have been quieter over lockdown, however graffiti has increased in town.
“Do you know where your children are during half-term? Have you noticed spray paint cans in your child’s possession or paint on their clothes?”
