A KEY route through Dorset was partially blocked after a crash.
Emergency services were called to the B3165 in Marshwood in West Dorset following a two-vehicle crash before 8am on Monday, February 22.
The occupants of the vehicles had left the vehicles and firefighters from Charmouth were called to the B3165 to make the scene safe.
A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “One pump from Charmouth was mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision on B3165 Marshwood.
“Once on scene, the crew found there had been a two-vehicle road traffic collision, no persons trapped.
“The crew made the scene safe and two casualties were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.”
The fire service spokeswoman added that an ambulance was called ‘as a precaution’.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 7.56am of a two-vehicle collision on the B3156 at Marshwood. It was reported that the road was partially blocked.
“Officers attended, along with the fire and ambulance services. There were no reports of any serious injuries. Officers left the scene at around 9.45am.”
