A HOSPICE charity is challenging residents to give themselves a lockdown haircut.

Naomi House and Jacksplace, hospices supporting life limited and life limited threatened children and young adults in Dorset and across the south west, is bringing back the Who Dares Trims campaign which was launched during the first national lockdown in spring last year.

The campaign encourages residents to give themselves a trim, share footage on social media and raise some vital funds for the charity.

A spokesman for Naomi House said: "In these times of lockdown and social distancing, it has been months since anyone has been able to visit the barber or hairdresser and hair across the UK is in need of some serious attention.

"Fearless participants are encouraged to take clippers to their unruly curls to create imaginative new hairstyles, sharing the even live on Facebook and sharing photos/videos on social media."
