TOOLS have been stolen following a break in at a Weymouth garage and police are appealing for witnesses.
At around 8.35am on February 22 it was reported that a break-in had occurred at Hungerhill Garage on Lower Putton Lane. It is believed that the burglary took place during the evening of February 21.
A number of power tools and Snap-on hand tools were stolen.
Police Constable Rory Swinden, of Weymouth police, said: “I am carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary, including house-to-house visits and CCTV checks of the area.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the garage between Sunday 21 February and Monday 22 February 2021 to please get in touch.”
