A PORTLAND dental practice is to be converted into a three-bed home.
Dorset Council has given permission for the change the Grapes dental surgery at 12 Straits, Easton after hearing that Portland Town Council supported the move.
The private practice has not been in use for two years and although the building has been on the market for commercial use it failed to attract any interest. All of the patients have moved to other practices.
The planning application says that the external appearance of the building will remain largely unaltered with modifications inside to convert the building back into a home.
